OP X READER: A zine celebrating the xReader side of One Piece

FAQ

What is 'xReader'?
xReader content is when art or fics are created with the intention of the viewer to 'see' themselves in the reader. It's a way for the viewer to 'interact' with their favorite canon characters.
Art is generally a nondescript body/body parts interacting with a character. (ie. Canon character holding a grey full body person, hands cradling a character's cheeks, or character looking out towards the viewer.)
Fics generally are written in the second person (you gasped with surprise) without descriptive features so readers can imagine themselves in the 'role'.
Do I need to have previous zine experience?
No other zine experience is required for this project!
As an artist, do I have to draw a "y/n" style character? (full body person with no features)
Nope! We'd like to have a few y/n bodies, but also floating hands, or the canon character interacting with the viewer in some way (holding out food, gesturing to a map, etc). The goal is to make sure to have a good mix of all three types.
As an artist, what kind of y/n style characters can I do?
We're hoping to get as much variety as we can with body diversity and gender expression. A lot of y/n characters look very feminine so we'd like to have more masculine leaning ones, as well as any trans-bodied y/n characters.
What kind of readers will be included in fics?
We want to be as inclusive as possible. The interest check will help us determine how to break it down, but we want to have all possible versions of readers (female/male/gender neutral/non-binary) so that readers can see themselves reflected as much as possible.
Will there be trans readers?
Yes! If creators wish to do content for a trans reader, they definitely can.
Will alternative universe content be allowed?
Yes! We're looking for a wide range of content. Modern, soulmate, fantasy, sci-fi, etc, any kind of AU will be allowed! Just has to feature One Piece characters.
What characters will be featured on the zine?
Depends on the interest check and contributors, but we want a wide variety of male and female characters for the readers to interact with.
Will all the content be 'shippy'?
Not all the content will be ship-related! We are also accepting platonic/gen and family content. Actual numbers will be determined after the interest check.
Is this a SFW or NSFW zine?
It will be both! We've decided to do a SFW side and a NSFW side. As such, we will ask that all participants be 18+.
How many artists/writers will you have?
We don't have a set number, it will be determined after the interest check.
